A Tribute To Bob Hope

Bob Hope came on to the set at paramount studios, while we were filming ÒA Connecticut Yankee in King ArthurÕs CourtÓ and he said to bing ÒWell, if you can use her, I guess I can tooÓ and he promptly hired me to co-star with him next in the ÒGreat LoverÓ, a black and white film for Paramount.

And then, ten years later, I joined him to co-star in a cute comedy film called ÔAlias Jesse JamesÕ and went on to appear in many of his television specials.

We became good friends and I was grateful to be able to attend his memorial and express my fond memories of having the privilege of working with an icon who was so dearly loved by all.
